We have been using Aenaon Property Maintenance since we first purchased our new-build property in Kalyves three years ago. Since then we have enjoyed peace of mind knowing that it has been cared for professionally, promptly and by a team that always seem to go the extra mile to make sure things are in perfect working order for us.

Our experience with construction work at our house in Kokkino Chorio
Our family bought a house at Kokkino Chorio in June 2010. The house was in good condition but the garden area was undeveloped. After some consolidation and planning we decided to ask entrepreneurs in the area for executing major construction work to finalize the outdoor area.
The construction work included cleaning and developing the upper and lower garden with soil, membrane and gravel. Stone walls and steps connecting the upper and lower garden. Expanding the pool area and making a storage room underneath. Building a stone grill house and a dividing boundary. Stone tailing in the driveway to the house. Two of the four boundaries to be raised as stone walls and new fences on top. And finally preparation for the garden plants.
After stayed only few weeks in the area we did not have many contacts there could help us selecting entrepreneurs. The few contacts we had helped us to arrange with two entrepreneurs to visit the house and give us a price. One of the entrepreneurs was Theofannis Nikakis who was contacted by Mark Mitchell.
In our first meeting at the property, Theofannis started to discuss our plans and came up with several solutions to how he believed we should solve over needs. It is not always pleasant to hear that even an experienced man is challenging your plans. But we soon realized that his ideas were much better than ours. He also surprised us because he gave a price for the job then and there. His behaviour that day resulted in an agreement.
We went home to Norway and were very nervous about the progress and quality of the job because we had heard stories about entrepreneurs who were not showing up and not completing the work as agreed.
The work started at the agreed date and three days after start-up we received the first pictures form Mark Mitchell documenting the progress. We have been able to follow the progress every week by the pictures from Mark which has been very motivating. I visited the property about half way in the project and was then able to better evaluate the quality of the work. I found it very satisfactory and better than I had expected. The construction work has been finalised and I am very satisfied. Theofannis has actually done more than what was written in our agreement. (And now he will wonder what that can be.)
We still have contact with Mark and Theofannis who is helping us with small problems you always will have when you have a holiday house in Crete and Mark is also looking after our property and pool in an excellent way.
